One of the most popular arguements about "Total Drama Island" is whether or not it should be on Adult Swim. What do you guys think? Would it be better off on Adult Swim, is it just fine on Cartoon Network, or do you not care which channel it's on? Share your thoughts here!

Frankly, I don't care which channel it's on. As long as TDI is on the air, I'm happy!

It shouldnt be on adult swim. They censor the dumbest words, like booty and freak

True. I guess it would only be on Adult Swim if they didn't censor stuff like that. You know how careful CN is about those kinds of words since it's on a channel for young viewers.

I say no to adult swim because the targeted audience wouldn't be able to watch it. Plus, what they change is said in my school all the time, so does it really matter?

TDI's fine where it is on Cartoon Network, but CN's censorship of the show sucks.

Even if the censoring sucks on CN, it should still stay on the network. It will not be as successful now if it lands on Adult swim.

I've got a better idea! Cartoon Network can show their edited version on the regular Cartoon Network like they have been doing, but they can also show the uncut version of "Total Drama Island" on Adult Swim. That way, EVERYBODY wins! Enough said!

    That's actually a pretty good idea, 4EverGreen.

The censoring really aggravates me, but that's probably because I've seen the Canadian version, and I've heard far worse words than what CN is censoring out. Put the uncut version on Adult Swim, and the censored version on the usual CN. Let people choose which version they want to hear. TDI (and TDA, if/when that gets to the US) will get even more popular, because of the wider audience.

They do edit a lot but I think we are to blame not them for overeacting to these little words. Have you seen what the youtube people are acying like when Bridgette said crap in Not Quite Famous.
Yes the edits are stuipid but they mean the EXACT same things. Lets be thankfull CN is taking out any scenes. And lets be thankfull the story is still the same.
Honestly when my parents came in my room watching TDI i was thankfull for the edits then

Hey! I just thought of something! Do you guys think Bridgette saying "Oh, crap!" in "Not Quite Famous" was Cartoon Network testing us to see how we would react? I mean, maybe all the censoring started when everyone totally freaked out about that.

    Nah, I don't think so,

Owen yelled "CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP" while jumping off the cliff in Not So Happy Campers part 2, so They did it once before Not Quite Famous

Actually, in the US version, Owen began to say crap but then he jumped and it turned into something more like "CRA-AAAHHH!"
