TELETOON
You're looking on it from the perspective of someone inside the TDI universe again. There are many reasons why Beth would win:
-Better role model for kids, as people mentioned.
-Seeming underdog winning, same as last season (come on, Owen vs a long distance run?), same as in hundreds of movies and TV shows.
-She's not there at all in the next season, and Chris said they were playing for "another" million dollars, so she'd be out.
-Similarities to last season, a protagonist (although I use that term loosely in Duncan's case) against someone who has no plotline.
-Beth would probably have the larger support of the fans considering the amount of enemies Duncan's made; again, same as last season.

TV networks don't care about role models anymore, and plus it's been shown that despite being a bully and going to juvy that Duncan isn't as bad he tries to make himself(like baby talking to a pet spider). Plus how many enemies has Duncan made? aside from Chef and Harold.
However let's not forget Owens part in TDA, Even I doubt that he'll make it to the final three, but with the writers who knows.

Justin, Lindsay, and Leshawna would all support Beth over him. Trent and Izzy probably would, too, and possibly Heather. The only people that Duncan would have for certain are Courtney, DJ, and maybe Geoff. Although I must admit, I can see Harold swinging for him after last episode... |

Most people would not find it as entertaining if Courtney, Owen, or even Duncan won. We, as most-probably-teenagers, are using a more complex form of logic than most kids do. We know who the winner is because we KNOW an antagonist cannot win, and adjust our opinions accordingly. We make fairly accurate guesses on eliminations because we look at fourth-wall reasoning: they aren't going to get rid of a character that can stir up plotlines or provide tons of comedy. No offense, but most kids in the show's age group are not going to use that level of logic and reasoning in their predictions. So, not all the little kiddies in the show are expecting Beth to win. We, the forum users, are expecting such things, just because we have a logical way to dissect the show that is advanced and clear enough to make many accurate predictions. Beth winning would be less predictable for the show's age group. You're also somewhat assuming that the writers of a KIDS' SHOW can just let a jerk like Courtney win. Assumptions are what all predictions are based off of; we assume the show is going to work out in a certain way, and that allows a certain elimination order to take place. Don't knock people for assuming, unless they're using that assumption as 100% fact, and not as a prediction or estimation. Besides, you still didn't answer. What is so dramatic in letting Courtney win? |

Funny how you can't even answer the question yourself, you don't know anything, your just assuming |

His "assumptions" are based on likely outcome, educated guesses, and fact. Yours are based on whether Courtney will be Duncan's "suga mama" or not. |

If Heather is Duncan's enemie just voting her off then she considers Harold an enemy too, I don't think she really takes any grudge against either of them since she can understand why because of LeShawna's cheer, besides I think she not very fond of Beth anyway.
Lindsay only only wanted to vote off Duncan to drive Courtney nuts.
Beth hasn't got any reason to hate Duncan and only has a grudge against Courtney.

I never say either of them would win I said he doesn't knwo that Beth will, and it's what you guys assume is likely, appearances can be deceiving, most of you didn't think Harold was going to go until the spoiler because "it wasn't likely" you guys version of isn't likely isn't reliable |
To Friday, Duncan isn't in TDM either. He's there as an intern for an episode. So that doesn't tell anyone that Beth wins it.
Although she's the underdog, Courtney could be considered one as well. Nobody is expecting her to be in the Final Two, let alone win. She might not seem like the winner but this a 'drama' show isn't it? So Courtney isn't out just yet.
Owen won't win it though, already a winner and only there for the laughs. Harold found him out and soon everyone else will know too and I expect it to be soon too.
Last season it was a guy, so it's probrably a girl winning it this season. So whoever stays the longest between Beth and Courtney will probrably be the winner.
