The ratings for Cartoon Network are astounding. 9-14 year olds are watching CN twice as much as before. Every reported demographic is up. I think this means that TDI won't be cancelled for some time.
There's a link at http://totaldramaisland.blogspot.com as to the ratings compared to one year ago. I never thought this show would be so popular.

Nick used to be cool with Alex Mack, Pete & Pete and maybe to an extent, All That; but then they said "Let's please preteens!" and those were replaced with iCarly, Drake & Josh and (shudder) Zoey 101! This may be how CN redeems itself after the ridiculous "Re-animated." that made their shows predictable and bland.

This is awesome! Maybe CN will put up more shows with slightly higher ratings like TDI, stuff that's more pleasing to older viewers. If that happened, I would be happy, considering Nickalodean has received 0 viewings from me since iCarly (ew).

What, animate The Kids in the Hall and Corner Gas. I laugh at the animated Brent! What about Terrence and Philip! OMG YEAH! No lower humour than nearly everything on CN already.
Of course, some kids will do something stupid and there'll be a huge war between the U.S. and Canada because some parents somewhere in... I don't know, Nebraska want to blame Canada for all the problems in society. I think the PG rating may be the start to that end.
