I just realized how much of the show, if it were real, would NOT use some of the camera angles or set up cameras where they did.

Besides clearly impossible things (jumping off 1,000 foot cliff and surviving, eating bad fugu and not dying, getting mauled by a bear and being moderately OK, killing all the interns, fresh-water sharks), what are some things they've done that any real show wouldn't or can't do.

Showing the campers puking is all I can think of right now. In normal shows they hide the people puking in bushes or you can just hear them being sick, but never do they show the vomit unlike on TDI.

Truck-driving Dolphins, the bear wearing glasses, and maybe Cody's Static Dodgeball, doubt that could happen

Yeah, and in Justins audition, can that happen in real life, a dolphin washed up on the beach out of nowhere, this is total drama island, not fairytale island

I said besides clearly impossible things. I meant like when Courtney kicked Duncan in the crotch, they had a closeup on her foot meeting his pants. They wouldn't zoom in or say "Wait, let's move the camera.... OK, commence kicking." And they might show vomit, I mean what kid hasn't seen vomit before? Not like it's THAT inappropriate. And when Heather said "Do you see a rule person around?" Uh yeah, the camera crew, with cell phones or radios to talk to Chris and disqualify you. And having a camera in the shower with Heather covered by a towel, never.

What about not stopping the bear from mauling Cody? They'd try on a reality show or at least themselves run away, not stay completely still but cut out the gore.

Well, how would you feel, if you saw a ferocious bear? Because Cody was paralyzed with fear
