For those of you saying Owen suggested to Trent that he lose challenges, that is totally false.
What Owen said was "She's all about winning." Trent interpreted that as meaning he should do whatever it takes to help her win and decided to start losing challenges in response to that. What Trent failed to factor in was that Gwen is very competitive and would only be happy with a win that was done fair and square. Trent takes the blame on that one, NOT OWEN.
Duncan's little theory, which was false by the way, combined with his gettting a bit TOO CLOSE TO GWEN as we all saw ON CAMERA, were contributing factors to the relationship's demise and they can't be ignored. But Duncan doesn't get total blame or evcen majority of it either. Nope, the main blame goes to Trent and Gwen, neither of who communicated with eachother very well after they became captains of opposing teams. If they'd kept good communication with eachother, they might still be together.
