Remember the annoying, frequent occurrences where you watched Total Drama Island, and the word that was said did not match their lips. And then you either watched an episode on youtube or looked up the ep on this site and figured out that our fabulous friends at Cartoon Network changed the words.

    It's Baaaaaaccck!

When Harold is in the confessional after jumping into Lashawna's arms and after Lashawna is finished in the confessional, Harold says, "I'm pretty sure Lashawna isn't over me yet. I see the way she looks me, like she's undressingme with her eyes..." Yet on the CN he says, "I'm pretty sure Lashawna isn't over me yet. I see the way she looks me, like she's romancing me with her eyes..."

What's worse is that that this is more sensitive than ever. Oh, well, I guess that's why man made Youtube.

Okay, I was seriously mad when the Lindsay and Heather "incident" was edited out.

Well I was kind of expecting that. It comes to show that since CN dubbed episodes of TDI, TDA will be treated the same way too. And it sucks! WHY CN?

I think Cartoon Network also tends to attract younger viewers, and they don't want their young viewers being influenced by "bad words." But I really don't understand it. "Crap" is a commonly used word and is not considered cursing. I have seen DOZENS of PG movies that use the word CRAP in them.

Changing what they say, especially one word, doesn't bug me like it apparently does to everyone else.

Meh. I look up the Canadian eps on Youtube anyways.

Besides, from the looks of it, TDA has very few things that could get censored, at least compared to TDI. Maybe once, Beth says 'holy crap!' or something to that effect. But, otherwise, the language is a lot cleaner.

It's not fair CN never edits 6teen so Total Drama Island should'nt be edited either.

I say just rate all the episodes PG or above and call it a day. Plus, I know tons of little kids that say "Crap" and much worse sometimes. It doesn't matter how they're exposed to it...they're gonna learn those *cough* "bad" *cough* words anyway. I still don't get why they don't edit 6TEEN....whatever. It annoys me...

Heh, I'm watching 6teen right now, one of the first lines of episode:

    Nikki: "Wyatt, because we suck."

And here's another one, same episode:

Wyatt: "None of you were there for me...YOU SUCK!"

So far, the only instance I can remember them allowing something like suck slide is in the talent contest episode where Justin leaves, "And right now, the Bass are totally sucking." That's the only one, at least off the top of my head...

Yeah, in the talent show episode, they didn't censor anything at all. Bridgette even says, 'oh crap!' when she accidentally smashes Courtney's violin...

The funny part is that 'romancing me with her eyes' sounds more suggestive than 'unpantsing me with her eyes.' At least, in my opinion.

To jtw2213: It seems like ever since the halftime show of Super Bowl 38, networks are starting to edit all the good stuff.

Two words. One of them is "Wardrobe," the other is "Malfunction," and it involved Michael Jackson's sister, Janet Jackson. Enough said!

I personally find this to be unfair. If all the shows were edited, I wouldn't care, but I don't see why they edit TDI/TDA, but not 6Teen, and from when I tried the live-action shows, just to see, I heard things like "This sucks" "freakin' awesome" and stuff.

It's fine with me if they edit it all, but they are only editing this. It seems unfair.

I can understand some things, but things look like they will edit everything.

    Hypocrites.

If they are afraid that more kids will watch TDA then 6teen...then why would they have 6teen come on after TDA and sporadically throughout the day like they have TDA? They seem to fear that more kids will watch TDA and pick up stuff from that than 6teen, so they edit TDA and leave 6teen alone...
