TELETOON
Hey, maybe they wrote that in, so people will stop bashing on Owen being gay Honestly, I think there should be more gay characters on cartoons(not cause I am one), because there are more homosexual parents, and I believe that it would make their kids feel more normal, and teach them to be acceptant if they ever grew up that way, or their friends turned out that way.
I mean, my mom's bff is gay.I remembered I only made fun of her (when I was younger) because she married a woman, but my mom just said "So what?" I met her once and her wife(yeah, they were married before all this gay crap going on)and they were really nice. That totally made me realize it's no big deal to be gay
Sorry if I'm off topic, but this just seems to fit.

He's not gay People are telling me that he made out with Izzy, which is a good thing for him. He may have tried to love Justin during the episodes, but he's now gone and Owen better have a mind to find a girl (IZZY!!!!!). |
Yeah, but in the last episode, people say that he was "distracted" by Justin's hotness.

What episode are you up to? It's in "Hook, Line, and Screamer" where they make out. |
In US, which is were I live, it's only "If you can take the Heat..." where they lock Heather in a fridge and have a cook-off.

I still think that's bull-crap. Why would CN get sued? Just because the parents can't explain to their kids? I'm sorry, but homosexuality is becomeing a bigger part of our society, and I just think kids should learn about this. And if you-know-what is asked, just tell 'em "Wait to your older," Back on topic-Yeah, probably right. I guess it was just supposed to happen. But I don't think it will anymore due to the events in Hook,Line and Screamer. |
Yeah, but it says right before the start of the show every time, and after commercial breaks, that it's TV-PG with flirtatious manner and speech or whatever.
I personally think the idea was that Justin was just so good looking it made Owen have a man-crush on him. Anyway, how many of you guys have had your dad kiss you on the cheek when you were younger, or did you kiss him on the cheek? How about any of you Dads--have you ever kissed your SON on the cheek? I don't see THAT as being Gay
Owen may have kissed Duncan, DJ and Geoff on the cheek after saying the guys alliance was SO MANLY, but it wasn't on the lips, man! And if you want to go that route, Duncan kissed Chef Hatchet on the NOSE in "Basic Strainging" but nobody is questioning HIS sexuality.
To quote Jim Rome's take on Marci and Peppermint Patty "He is a CARTOON CHARACTER, they don't HAVE sexual orientations" Yeesh! Just get over it.
