1. Make her a MORE relatable character by giving her flaws (not just the minor ones)

2. Gradually build up a relationship with her and someone else (preferably Dawn)

3. Have her go through most of the season alone, while also befriending some of the other contestants (and not just Cameron and Mike)

I'd still have her as an independent character however. That way, she would have been slightly more likeable.
