Yeah, and I'm a part of the proof, I'll be 17 in 10 days, and I really like this show.

I guess it has to do with the reality setting, that it's semi-realistic, and that it's funny without being stupid.

Yeah, the level of this show is way above the other Cartoon Network shows. Especially here, where they don't show Adult Swim (no Family Guy and no Robot Chicken ((). I really like it. I'm 17, btw.

I've heard it's targeted towards 9-14 years olds. But who cares about the viewers age? The more fans the better!

I'm 14 and nearly everyone I know says "That show is ghey or "It's not that funny." I don't know if they really think that or if they're saying that to cover up their love for this show. Just to be safe, this is the only place I let anyone know I watch this show.

I guess they are going for like 12 to 17 because that's how old the characters are almost. I guess nobody wants to admit that they've used some of the characters for (ahem) self-gratification, so they say they hate it. I mean when it's me and my friends, I go along or even against the flow and say TDI is kiddie crap for exactly the reasons I stated. THATS RIGHT, I SAID IT. EVERYONE DOES IT AND EVERYONE LIKES IT. WE WOULDN'T HAVE OPPOSABLE THUMBS OTHERWISE. (btw, if you're wondering, Bridgette.)

Let's just say that my Spanish teacher thinks it's hilarious, and she's somewhere over thirty.

Also, I think that younger kids might not get the right interpretation for things. It's like one of those movies that little kids watch for the adventure, but only older people get the morals behind it.

I think that the show was initially targeted for younger children but it does also have some humor that is geared towards more mature viewers. It has some things that older people would understand or see the meaning behind but younger kids would just see the character's actions. The show is at the end of the Cartoon Network line-up and the last show before adult swim starts after all.
