Maybe coincidental...definitely a nice catch there. I doubt the producers had the lucky number 9 thing for Trent at the point, but definitely weird...

harold was the ninth contestant and trent was the tenth. they messed up.so im guessing they were planning the nine thing.

They still could've planned it from the start. Trent Reznor, Nine Inch Nails, musician, it makes sense.
Or it could be possible that they added the nine angle afterward because of that.
