Duncan's resigned to the fact that LxD isn't going to happen. Remeber he said in the first episode "They always go fo the jocks" They could work together to bring down Courtney, but besides that, they have about as much of a chance as OwenxGwen

It probably won't happen, but it's an interesting thought.

I think Duncan and Lindsay can be friends... but I wouldn't advise it. Duncan hasn't really been too much of himself through the 2nd half of the season. He's supposed to appear tough, but have a disposition for certain things.

I don't see them as friends. I think that they will remain as acquaintaces at best. They have had almost no interaction throughout the entire series, nor have they done anything nice for the other-- minus the mystery challenge. I don't mind seeing them as friends or acquaintaces, but Lindsay belongs with Tyler and Duncan belongs with Courtney. If anything were to go wrong in either relationship, it's possible that one might seek the other out. But I doubt that will happen.

Well, that's what fandom is for. XD

But yeah, I see your point. It's hard to pair people up that hardly interact. People still manage to do it though, and kudos to them.

    Sure.

It's true. And the fact that some people have that ability to make the most challenging pairings work is amazing.

Most fanfics just force the characters in the roles though, and thats just not good writing

I know a lot of fanfictions are terrible. I usually try to steer clear of the really crappy ones.

One of the best ways to figure it out is if the writer can even type English, and by that I mean no chatspeak, correct punctation, no random "lol"s in the middle of the story... that's usually a good sign that it's a fic worth reading.

    Sorry, punctuation, not "punctation."

It's not letting me edit today for some reason.

I find even the ones that are considered "good" have the characters completely forced into their actions

Often times, I feel the same way about them being forced into their actions in the SHOW too. Especially TDA, considering how different several of the characters are from first season.

If anything, TDA could be considered a "fanfiction" with this idea.
