Total Drama Island: do you guys think TDWT will have a special? like the other seasons?

this been on my mind for quite sometime now and i know that some other people are asking the same questions and wondering too will this season have a special before TDR starts and do you guys think there will be one this year? Discuss here

I think that TDWT MIGHT have a special- but in some ways, it might not. Remember in TDI, everyone was introduced in the first episode? Well, maybe since these are new characters in TDR, they will be introduced in the first episode of the new season, so if there was a special, it would probably just tie up the loose ends of Season 3.

Yes, more than ever they need one, because season 4 is 13 eps, and 12 contestants so there is only one ep without elimination, maybe it's the introduction, maybe it's a reward IDK, but at least they have to epxlain why they change cast, becqause the "since they are all dead, we'll change" doesn't work for me.

We technically would need a special, not just to clarify what happened to the "Old" contestants but to wrap up any loose ends- and I see a lot of them. I'm giving Teletoon eight months (That's when the new season starts anyway) to answer our hopes....

It wouldn't surprise me at all if we don't learn the fate of the original contestants. Especially if there is any possibility of any of them turning up in a season 5. I'm still not convinced Teletoon will go for a season 5 just because they haven't done so with past shows.

No special it looks like. You have to see the end of TDWT to understand that. And there aren't many loose ends that can't be tied up in a TDR aftermath.

I think on Cake's website it says that TDI has 26 episodes plus a 1 hour special and TDA has 26 episodes plus a 1 hour special but for TDWT it only has 26 episodes.

that would be sad if they dont have a special this time but then again the might have one plus i hope they do we'll have to wait til November or December, next year or something

The ending of season 3 doesn't make all that much difference. It's not as if they've put much effort into making anything past the end of TDA overly realistic, so they won't have problems coming up with a plotline that will hring back anyone they want to.

I hope they do! I saw somewhere that Cody and Gwen are returning for TDR. But its probably a rumor. If its true though then that means somehow they qualified to return! MEANING A SPECIAL! hope it true. Also i want something to happen with Heather and Alejandro, Courtney and Duncan, and Gwen and Trent! They should all get back together. Plus other "loose ends". Hope season 4 is longer than 13 episodes! I hope its 26 w/ an hour special like usual!

Total Drama Reloaded will just be a mini-series to get season 5 started and hyped-up. I'll watch but I expect nothing more than just 'meeting' the new characters and some of their traits, potential bondings or rivalries and any possible hints of the original crew along the way. I won't care who'll win next season, it's just a distraction per-say while they work on the fifth season.
