At first, I didn't really mind that much, but now the edits are just plain silly. Who censors the censor? Arts and Junk center? Come on, crap slipped out in Not Quite Famous and half of it slipped out in not so happy campers.

At least we got the finger for 1/2 a second.

I never understood why they censored sucks. Many kids will hear worse by age 8. And censoring freak? That's just plain stupid. First graders use that!

I'm voting no too. I can understand how they'd censor certain words, seeing as this is a children's channel, but some of them are getting ridiculous. They're already putting the warning at the start of the episode. It's not like someone will be watching the show and not know its rating, and how it's higher than the other shows on that channel.

It would be a lot more practical to only censor 'crap'. Personally, it's the only word that even comes close to a swear, and could be slightly unacceptable for the target age. I didn't even know 'screw' would be considered a cuss before this All the other censors would be common lingo for forth-graders and up, the target age of the show.

I agree with violet mist. That art's and junk center thing was relly stupid. It's so obvious that they edited it. And censoring screw? I heard the word screw on that's so raven. Also when lindsay cussed out heather. All they needed was a simple beep. and not the whol "bully of a girl" thing, i mean who says that. This has gone way to far.

I voted no since they censor dumb words like freak and booty. Is booty a bad word? No! In fact, it is better than to say butt. I dont care about censoring crap, since it is probably the worst word they say in the show. i dont know about screw though. Also, censoring a censor? Who does that? Zack and Cody censor swears!

I know. Why are they doing this? It's like what everyone else is saying, Who in their right minds sensors a sensor? That's just stupid. It really makes you think how they're going to handle the rest of the season. It's times like this that I wish I could find the original canadian episodes somewhere on the Internet. If anyone knows please tell me, cause I can't take this anymore.

(hmph. sensoring a sensor, that just assanine.)

I still like the show, but I wish they could handle it better.

Here's the original Canadian version of Lindsay blasting Heather. As you can hear it includes a couple of very long beeps.

no. i dont. if i ran CN, i would ignore all the adults that lurk the T.V. channels trying to find something to complain about. but then those people saw this new kids show and they probably went berserk.

Not anymore. After censoring Lindsay's censor, which was the worst dub ever to me, I now begin to misjudge CN and the way they are handling this show. 1st off, they are taking words that are not even bad! Freak? Suck? Shut up to shut it? U know there are kids out there that are saying these words like shut up especially! CN is just not looking at this right. There are other shows that say shut up too! So why not TDI? It's just becoming an oncoming problem and I hope CN will do a better job in the episodes soon to come.

I'm pretty sure the only reason why they let Trent say "hell" was the fact that he was talking about the place where people go after death if they were bad during their lifetime. If he said something such as "what the hell?" they definitly would have censored that. Anyway, I voted "no" as well. I could understand if they censored "crap" and maybe "screw," but not stupid things like "freak" and "booty." For heaven's sake, almost everyone on earth says "freak" and "booty"! What's so wrong about that? And adding that "bully of a girl" thing in "That's Off The Chain!" was just as stupid. They could've just kept the long "beep." For once the censoring was already done for them!

Exactly. Even if a kid didn't know ANY of the words CN censors, what's wrong with a kid going BEEEP all day long?

Besides, the finger is worse than crap.

no way cuz there are so many dumb dubbings on there like in brunch of disgustingness, they make testicles into meatballs. Or when owen says crap infinity. but the worst was the bike episode. IT WAS CENSORED IN CANADA TOO! why did they add "TWO FACED LITTLE--pushy heartless bossy mean bully of a girl--" instead of just "TWO FACED LITTLE *****"?!

Oh yeah another stupid edit out

In the episode no pain no game, the episode where Eva and Izzy, returns, in the part where Eva came to the girls cabin, and was arguing with Leshawna, Eva said girlfriend, and Leshawna was mad, then Leshawna talked to Bridgette, and Leshawna said "Nobody disses Shawnees thighs" I was really confuse about that Eva didnt say nothing about Leshawnas thighs, so I think they "censored" out when Eva called Leshawna "sister thunder thighs" or something like that. But seriously, my point is that they "censored" out thigh? She just said "sister thunder thighs" And they edited it out to girlfriend? See the episode again if you dont believe me! The episode is "No Pain, No Game"

It makes you wonder if they are editing things just to get viewers upset.

I doubt they'd cancel TDI. It's getting way too much popularity.

I still can't believe they'd censor the idea of a swear. A beep is one of those things that automatically adjusts to age. To a kindergartner, she's yelling stuff like stupid, doo doo, shut up; to a fourth grader, she's yelling lesser swears; to a high-schooler, she's yelling things you'd never hear in movies rated below R.

Censoring the beep is also why I'm surprised they didn't take out the finger blur. Little kids won't know what it means, just as they won't know the higher swears that the beep could represent. I know it's part of the animation and it'd be harder to edit out, but if they're going to the extent of censoring 'booty', 'freak', and 'shut up', then why wouldn't they get rid of it?

On a different note, do you guys think CN'll be a little better with the censoring of TDA, because we're complaining about this so much? Or do you think they'll go on doing what they're doing now?
