    Not nessicaryily, this is the penguin's show, not their show. Besides, they're in Africa right now.

    I doubt they'll ever show up on the series, and if by any chance they do, maybe it'll be for a visit or something, but they won't base the series's ending on whether Alex and friends come back or not

    No, I highly doubt that. The real question is will the penguins be in the new planed sequel Madagascar 3. If they are in it then this series might become AU (alternate universe). And if they don't then I probably won't watch the new movie. But since Skipper's voice actor is a co-writter I don't think they'll write the penguins out, so if they do appear in the new movie they probably will incorparate the series into the story, but again I won't hold my breath.
