Which season do you guys think is the worst? I say season 6. A lot of episodes in the season so far were just so horrible!

Season 5 is the worst. I put Season 6 tied with Season 4 as the second worst season.

I think Season 6 may move to third place when I see enough episodes.

Well heres how i rank it

1. Season 3
2. Season 2
3. Season 1
4. Season 4 5. Season 6
6. Season 5

Its really close between 1,4, and 6. I pick 1 for third because of it being the first. Season 4 is 4 because I absolutely adored Krusty Towers over all of season 6. I pick Season 6 for fifth because while it had its list of great episodes, The Splinter brings the season down extremely. Meanwhile season 5 was obviously the butt crack of the Spongebob seasons

Why do people complain about season five the most? I understand season six, because it has just been average so far, but season five was great.

As for the worst, doesn't anyone remember what a disappointment season four was? It was only a few years ago when we were on this board complaining about it, and suddenly it has been pushed away.

How many good episodes does it have? Three? Four? Come on guys, season five had plenty of good ones.

everyone is entitled to their own opinions talonmalon, but i will answer you with my opinion.

season five was not that great compared to the rest. most of the episodes were gross, stupid, and mediocre.

the only classics from season 5 are: sing a song of patrick, le big switch, and goo goo gas. then there were some good ones like breath of fresh squidward, spy buddies, slimy dancing, roller cowards, and krabs a la mode.

then there were the bad ones like: fungus among us, the battle of bikini bottom, to love a patty, money talks, the donut of shame, blackjack, atlantis squarepantis, pest of the west, and spongehenge.

everything else i honestly did not care about or i would add to the bad list. bottom line, season 5 really disappointed me.

season 4 and 6 on the other hand, i liked more of their episodes more than season 5, but i am not going to go on because i have made this message pretty long as it is

Season 5 is the worst, no doubt about it. Although most of the episode on my Worst 10 ten list are from season 4. The thing with season 4 is that the first half was great: Krusty Towers, Fear of a krabby patty, Wishing You Well, etc. and the other half was disastrous: Good Neighbors, New Leaf, Karate Island, etc. But even put together it can't be as bad as season 5. I think season 6 is an improvement, with episodes like: House Fancy, Suction Cup Symphony, WhoBob WhatPants, Gone, etc. So it's between 4 and 5, IMO.

Yeah, I am aware. I'm just surprised at the sudden change of scenery. People were always complaning about season four, and then praising season five when it came around.

Season 4 is what got ME to watch SpongeBob! Before then, I didn't watch SpongeBob!
Season 4 had its' classics, like Wishing You Well, Have You Seen This Snail, Dunces And Dragons, Skill Crane, Krusty Towers, Ghost Host, Squid Wood and The Pink Purloiner!
But it also had it's failures, like Good Neighbors, The Thing, The Gift Of Gum, Karate Island, Enemy-In-Law, and SquidBob TentaclePants.

1. Season 3
2. Season 2
3. Season 1
4. Season 4 (first half, mostly)
5. Season 6 (almost tied with season 4)
6. Season 5
