she is spongebob's best friend after patrick, yet i didn't see her in the movie. i find her a bit annoying at times(especially in the "weenies" episode), but she's supposed to be a major character, and her importance has become lesser and lesser, as the seasons have gone on. anyone else think sandy's role oughta be a bit more important

I think they'll show more of her in the upcomming episodes. Earlier during Season 4 they only focused on Mr. Krabs. So maybe Mr. Krabs is their favorite charry and Sandy isn't? ;P

I have no idea why they think that we can't get too much of the Krusty Krab.

She was in the movie, but she all said is "I payed $10!" when replying to what Mrs. Puff said. She is also seen at the end of the movie, she didn't say anything.

There's a deleted scene in the movie with Sandy. It's on the "Animatics" feature on the DVD.

Yeah,i've seen it no offence people but i think Sandy is an OK character but she's not really my favourite.

Not sure if this is true, but somewhere on wikipedia's page of SpongeBob, it said that many fans thought she was overused in the first two seasons of the show. Sandy can be annoying at times, but I don't care much her otherwise, but I do agree that the Krusty Krab and Mr. Krabs are getting overused!

Maybe the reason Sandy is becoming a less important character is because she is being overused in the far-recent episodes. Just a thought.
