    Probably not at least for 2-3 more years. It's a clever show anyway, why can it soon?

    After seeing the recent Neilson ratings, I don't think that Nickelodeon is planning to end SpongeBob anytime soon. And I use the word "end" because "cancelled" means that the network no longer airs reruns.

    In two years SpongeBob goes to it's 10th anniversary but I think the series will continue due to it's high rating by the television audience of the world.

    Yeah they keep giving the hint that the show will end sometime soon. Yet that keep being a lie. When it does end it is going to go out with a huge bang.

    Nick's gonna need the big SB with El Tigre, Naked Brother's Band, Just Jordan (which is kinda funny but won't last long), and Mr. Meaty (AAHWFUL) for at least 2 years, and then maybe if they can't come up with more good shows they'll keep it going

    Just hope that other Nick shows get bad ratings, and IMO right now there are only three good shows that are getting new episodes: Spongebob, Catscratch, and the Fairly Odd Parents.

    But that would mean 113  eleven minute episodes,and there will be a 5th season soon.The episode number for half-hour episodes is already at 103 (including the one's in the episode list that haven't aired yet) and if you count the specials,which they don't give a number,It probably already is at 113 half-hour,or 226 11 min. episodes! So it will probably last longer than that!
