WHat happened to this show? The new episodes are horrible, and "Fungus Amung Us", that was jus plain creepy. This show has really gone down hill and I give the new episodes 4/10. I am very dissapointed.

The new season is still slightly bellow the first three seasons, but it did go way up hill after the fourth season.

Let me try to understand this. Because someone likes the new episodes or doesn't see the decrease in quality, so that means that they don't watch the episodes now?

For some people, it looks like making fun of the new episodes is just "the thing to do", without even thinking about why they are bad. I am sure a lot of the people who do that are people who still think we are on season four.

Yeah, that's true. No show can have all golden episodes even shows as successful as Heroes or Hannah Montana have some bad eps...

Someone once told me what goes up, must come down. Spongebob was and still is a pop culture fanomanon, but the new episodes aren't cutting it. They are getting into the gross humor, and I think Nick thinks just because you have a special or a marathon, the show will get better. And ever since the movie, the episodes have been going downhill.

Someone also told me, It's better to quit when your on top. The movie would of been a nice ending for the show, but they got greedy and made more episodes. They also fired Steven Hillenburg, who by the way, CREATED THE SHOW AND GOT IT OFF THE FRICKEN GROUND!

Nick needs to cancel the show, stop making sucky specials every other fricken month, or get Hillenburg back.

P.S I understand what the one guy said about if you don't like the new episodes, watch the old ones, but if you've seen the same episode a million times already, you're not going to have fun watching it.

Well, this post needs a few changes.

The episodes in the fifth season are getting better, in my (and most people's) opinion. Also, don't expect this show to end any time soon. There really is no other show on television that's as popular.

You couldn't be anymore confused, or you just don't know what you're even saying. They created more episodes because the fans begged for them. In fact, the creators would have probably ended the show if fans didn't show support. And please, enough of this Stephen was fired stuff. He wasn't fired, he just resigned from his position. He is still involved in the show. I honestly thought that was common knowledge now.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no way this show will be canceled in this year, or the next. It is way too popular. And why do you make things up? They don't show specials every month.

If the original sixty episodes will get boring after a time, then stop whinning that they should have ended after the movie.

SpongeBob SquarePants is here to stay; get over it.

Exactly, if the original 60 episodes and the movie are the only things that will pique your interest and you've watched them "a million times", then don't watch it at all. Nobody's telling anyone to turn on the TV to Nickelodeon and watch an episode of SpongeBob. It's your own free will. (I'm fighting the urge to quote Grant Gabriel here... )

Actually I don't think there's ever been a bad episode of Fullmetal Alchemist, just ones that aren't quite as awesome as the others XD

Yes, Yu Yu Hakusho is the same; it doesn't get bad episodes.
