I thought it was REALLY stupid the way SpongeBob gave up a great life and friends to live with the jellyfish. Who in their right mind would do that?!

The whole time SpongeBob was living in nature, he never took his shoes off.

It definitely wasn't as good as some of the later episodes, but all of season one was like that.
