I'm just curious. It sounds like (yet another) TV movie only a little bit more darker. I heard the DVD for this is suppost to come out like in Feb/Mar.

It sounds interesting. I'm just wondering if anyone has ANY info on this movie. Dates, rumored plots, real plots, if it's the finale, ect. If you do have this info, please post here. If you don't, then we can just use this forum as a pre-discussion.

Nah, I think it's just an 11 minute episode, or it could be a 22 min special.

    From what I know, it's a 22 minute special.

    Johnny Depp will guest star.

It will likely air on Sunday, March 1st or Monday March 2nd.

The DVD release date is March 3rd.

It says straight-to-DVD, so I think they will air it after March 3rd.

It's a TV movie because it's getting it' sown video game, I mean, they wouldn't make a video game just for a 22 min. special. And definitely not a finale. All I know is that I'm not that exited for the plot, but holy sweet mother of Pearl! Johnny Depp will guest star and that's all what matters to me

Hmmmm... well, they both can sing, (JD for Sweeney Todd and DB for well, being a singer!) but what if Johnny Depp WANTED to be on SpongeBob? I mean, I know many adults who adore SpongeBob as much as us.

So True! xD and I have no clue who David Bowie is, so i'd say that JD would cost more then DB

well think of it this way. johnny depp asked for 56 million to be in the new pirates movie that disney is making. that just makes me wonder how much nick paid for him to be on spongebob.

by the way chewster, david bowie is a famous singer from back in the 60s/70s. thank you for teaching me that rock band

Oh ok! xD and yes thank you for teaching me that. and im guessing they probally paid him like somewhere in the 100,000's, but I guess it depends how big his role is, in the ep/special/whatever it is lol.

I wonder how much the SpongeBob voice actors earn. I bet it's much less than a regular actor. Anyone has any idea? Well, I'm sure Nick had to pay Depp some big bucks because he's huge, at least for me he is

Someone posted a link about it at a Spongesite. I was waiting for more details to post it here, but it's real.

Yeah, you're right, but maybe they don't want to over hype us, specially because some people hate the over hyping.
