Why does everyone hate Atlantis Squarepantis? I thought it was pretty good. And I bet the episode will be awsome just like the other episodes, I never doubt Spongebob...except for the Best Day Ever, that was sorta lame.

Well let's see: Specials that were good- Where's Gary, Spongebob's House Party, lost episode and The Christmas Special
Specials that sucked- Antlatic Squarepantis, That caveman special, Friend or foe, Dunces and dragons
it's a 50/50 chance but most likily it will suck

When it is going to show then???
For crying out loud, don't judge it. Its a new idea, NEW idea, i'll say it again, NEW. Everyone wants Spongebob to change, well let the writers try out NEW ideas. That Goo Goo Gas looks brilliant though.

I've seen the "Dunces and Dragon" one and I thought it was original in a brilliant way (the guard at the start who was going to stab himself, ha-ha) well anyway...I know where you are coming from but just because you think they suck, doesn't mean this will. Some ideas will work but some aren't (50/50) personally I think all their ideas are good. You've just got to wait and see.

That wasn't my intention (although I do not like either of them). I meant SpongeBob have a distant ancester has been done twice now (three times if you count SB-129). Done before= unoriginal= not new idea.

On amazon, It says that it is coming to DVD in April, so we might be able to see it in MArch or April!

On tvshowsondvd.com it says April 15th so it's either February, March or early April. Or it can go the same way that Whale of a Birthday and Season 4 Vol.2 did and air them on the DVD.

What you said about it not being a brand new idea, I didn't think of it like that :-( but here comes the but...some old ideas can never go out of style, depends on what you like really. Note I can see some people not liking it that much.
What do you think of the idea Goo Goo Gas?

THIS has been done before! Well, to me, from what I've seen, it looks like Plankton hypnotizes SpongeBob(prediction), but I dunno. Still, the episode(I don't call these specials!) might appear as Dunces and Dragons, it just seems like it will take a similar route. Ugh... WHY in April?! Hopefully, Nick airs some Avatar in-between(or new FOP, which is SUPPOSED to come out THIS year!), else I'm not tuning in for awhile! Also, unoriginal ideas seem to be a little less exciting than those that are CREATIVE. Unfortunately, SpongeBob is all parodies/rip-offs now, for the most part! Oh yeah, Goo Goo Gas was already done as well in some way, and the only reference I can relate it to is something childish!(I'm not even going to mention it!)
