New background music

    Does anybody notice new background music for Spongebob? Instead of light hawiaan music like in the old episodes, there has been slower, stranger music. Kinda like organ music or keyboard music. It's been happening since about season5. Discuss

    Oh, well other people might notice it. I'm watching Professor Squidward right now on Nick on It's noticable compared to older episodes

    I agree Frostbite, it's very annoying. It usually happens when a scene is dragging on too long, which happens a LOT these days.

    Same here. It's both annoying and out of character. The BGM in the earlier seasons fit right into place.

    I haven't really noticed it much, but one I did notice was the whistling music that plays at the end of "Blackjack". THAT music is annoying.

    Yeah, thats used a lot in season5.

    I have noticed it. But it seems like they mainly take already existing songs and changed the key. They also don't play a few songs. For example, the theme it plays in "Help Wanted" when SpongeBob is running to the Krusty Krab hasn't been heard in a while, and the credits theme hasn't appeared inside of an episode since season one.
