    why are you telling other people a state someone else lives in? I don't even know this person off the top of my head, and you just reveal something like that. sure, that person may have revealed it, but it doesn't mean you should. If i told you something i wouldn't want you telling others

    I did it becuz I know that when the season turns to winter then there are states that are freezing every once in a while, and she said that she just got tons of snow so I got the idea

    OK, but I still don't feel comfortable sharing the information in the first place. The most I will tell you is that I do live in the United States, but that is it.

    And it's cool about the confusion. I totally understand. It's not like I haven't the same thing with the genders of people who I've met online.

    I don't remember it, so it is news to me. Same with anyone new who came in. Anyone who read that post you made, who didn't already know it, know the state of someone because YOU Told.
