    With us americans,we get Summer for mid june-September)
    we get a thanks giving break(lasting like 6-7 days
    we then get a week and a half off(or more) for Christmas vacation
    and then we get Spring Break(or Easter vacation,as the younger grades call it)spring break is in april or March i beleive and its like two weeks.

    Well where I live,(down in Texas)I get out june 2nd but go back August 23rd for summer vacation. That equals 11 weeks 5 days of summer vacation. For thanksgiving break, I was out November 24th through 29th. But you were right on Christmas vacation. But spring vacation is only 1 week

    I get out of school sometime during the first week of June, we go back mid-to late August, Thanksgiving Break's like a couple days, Christmas break is a little less then two weeks, Spring Break is like a week, maybe an extra day or two.

    Anyway, I go back to school tomorrow. Here's how the vacation thing works at my school:

    Summer Vacation - End of May or beginning of June through the middle of August
    Thanksgiving Break - One week (the week the Turkey Day lands on)
    Christmas Break - Two weeks
    Spring Break - One week at the end of March.

    My first day back was today, and like others, I stereotypically hate ALL Mondays.

    I really hate the day you go back, AFTER Christmas. Because everyone's all like "Oh my goodness, what did you get?!" and YOU think what you get is all cool and you tell your friends, they just stare at you like "Good for you.." Honestly, I hate when teachers/friends ask me what I got. I really hate it

    Yeah. But, I gotta say, sophomore year so far has been a lot easier for me than freshman year. I only got two research papers at the end, and I did well on both of them. Last year, I got a new project like every two weeks.
