The splinter is a severely underappreciated episode. I know that people are entitled to their opinion, but it is almost ridiculous how many haters that the splinter has. I am tired of everyone saying that the splinter is a bad episode. The splinter is not a bad episode. Whats with all the people saying that it is disgusting? If you agree, post here on this topic.

I think it's underappriciated, but people can say it's bad if they think that. It just pisses me off when they say that it should be banned and crap like that.

We are entitled to have opinions dude. The Splinter is my least favorite episode.

Everyone knows my opinion about it so I won't post it. However Nathan, people can say its bad if they want too. No episode should be banned though.

I do agree with bob_ball, I am sick of so many threads about The Splinter. This is probably the 8 millionth thread about the episode.

I agree. We have had alot of Topics about The Splinter.

Anyways, The episode was ok. But NathanJR remember, people can post their opinion of the episode too. Just because they hated it, doesn't mean you have to make a topic about it. I liked it a little bit though. Still, it was ok.

Well, I can totally understand why so many people hate it. But even if it's gross, to me it's aslo funny. But, you know, everybody can like and dislike whatver they want. But I'm sick of the multiple topics about it. Enough people! btw, the episode is on right now

^It was on just now for me too! That's how I saw it! And, I'm proud to say that I liked it! I thought Squidward was funny...trying to "squish" the other guy's face, and trying to get workmen's compensation!

^I actually like Waiting..mainly because when Squidward comes in to fix the toy..."It's supposed to do that!" I always laugh there, I don't know why.

I think The Splinter had a ridiculous plot and SB's thumb got way too gross and unrealistic. Just those last few scenes were unsettling, sorry but this is my opinion.

Well I'm not gonna bash the episode or anything anymore. The Splinter is certainly not one of my favorites, but its not like I hate the episode (though I think my brother does though.) Anyway, The Splinter-my recap of the episode: In my opinion, it was not too bad of an episode and I agree that some poeple here possibly tend to overreact to it, I only thought the last few scenes were gross and unsettling, like when his thumb was all swelled up. And the scenes where Patrick tried to fix it. But it was only a few short scenes, and the ending was good when SpongeBob's thumb was all better and Mr. Krabs was able to pull it out.
But the plot of the whole episode did seem kinda mediocre and could've been done better.
Either way though whether its gross, pointless, or whatever else you think it might be, or you actually like the episode, we should stop trying to bash the episode endlessly.
