Considering that SpongeBob SquarePants is still massively popular, I think it still has a good number of seasons left in it. I'll give until season ten, and then that will probably be the end. Personally I think they should end with season seven, but that's not what this topic is for.

If the episodes get better, I'll be writing to Nick.

Before I clicked on the thread I thought 10 as well. That way SpongeBob will run for at least 5 more years and it will beat Rugrats on running time!

    At least 10.

SpongeBob's already gone past 100, so I think that SpongeBob will be continuing for a while.

If Nick keeps showing it as many times as they are right now, then it will probably be more than 10.

I think that seven seasons is enough, however I am sure that won't be it.

I think, realistically, it will go on to be around as long as Rugrats, Rugrats was like the "head" or "mascot" of Nick, and now that it's gone, Spongebob has taken its place. I'm not saying it's going to be cancelled now, Spongebob has at least going to stay until 2010. In fact, how many of you noticed in about 8 months it will be the Sponge's tenth anniversary?

    That is true.
Rugrats was the longest running series on Nick (like 14 years or something like that. For spongebob to top that, it needs to be around until about 2012. (I think)
