Oh my god, his voice is so high... its higher or atleast close enough to match Tom's Spongebob. And its also creepy that the german voice of Patrick sounds almost like Bill's Patrick. http://www.nick.de/index.php?id=32

yeah my first impression of it was the same... at first i thought that the voice didn't really match his character but i got use to it, its somewhat more livelier (spelling?) than the french one. The french one isn't so deep, but its so monotone. Tom's along with the german voice are the highest voices for the sponge.

i guess we're just not use to hearing him like that, when i first saw the spongebob movie in spanish track, i thought he was gonna sound all high like in the english version. But he didn't, french version is okay but they just dont portray the characters as strongly as the original. Spanish Spongebob adds more emotion to his character

We are watching E.T. in Spanish, and the voices are obvious with language changes. The little girl sounds like she's high off of helium, and its soooo annoying!

yeah i saw that too, and im not too impressed either. Atleast Spanish SB doesnt sound too high-pitched or too low, i think its good...it would've been weird if they made him sound like a teenager. If Spanish SB sounds low then i wonder what Spongebob in Japanese sounds like. lol

Yeah, I can understand a lot, but like when we watched Shrek in Spanish, Donkey was talking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast for me to understand anything!

Is it more annoying in the Spanish dub or when Eddie Murphy does it?

I never heard his voice in spanish but i have in german and in french. His french voice is not too high, not too deep so its perfect for him and not too annoying. But his german voice sounds almost like the voice in english. Here is some songs in german http://www.taube-nuesschen.de/ just go to songs then click on deutsch

Ya'll should hear him in Portuguese. He sounds like an adult but it also sounds like he's talking through his nose.
