Do you think the spongebob is getting better, worse or is it staying the same?

    It's not that bad, but it's going a bit downhill. Not as good as other seasons, that's for sure! This is only my opinion, though.

    The worst episodes in my opinion now are Shell of a Man and Skill Crane. The other episodes aren't as good either!

    Worse.

    -Less funny episodes
    -sandy isn't there as much
    -Several episodes anoying Squidward. gets boring
    -Spongebob looks, and sounds different.

    Most importantly is the less funny episodes.

    NOTE: it is still great, and has good episodes, but it is going downhill, slowly

    I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but I think SpongeBob is getting better. Except for Dunces and dragons. All the other season 4 episodes are good, but D&D was just a disappointment to all SpongeBob fans across the world.

    I actually liked "Dunces and Dragons," I mean, Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick both freaking changed history for crying out loud! I mean, how many other times have we seen that happen on "Spongebob Squarepants?" But other than that, I think the show is getting better, I don't know where all this doomsday talk of the show getting cancelled is coming from. All I know is that I didn't start it and I'm sticking to that story!

    I thought the first few episodes of Spongebob (in 2005) were going down-hill and most of them were losing its touch except Fear of a Krabby. But in the beginning when they started with Dunces and Dragons, everything started getting a little more funnier. I know most wont agree with me, but I thought the last recent episode of Spongebob was the funniest in Season 4 so far and came through.

    Here's how I saw/see it:

    '99-'00 - Pretty Good

    '01-'02 - The BEST of Spongebob

    '03 and beyond - Not as good as '01-'02, but still better than '99-'00

    I agree, SB is past its glory days but still great, I actually don't think it's any better or worse than before.

    Spongebob could go ethier way. Most of the years its been on have been a hit and very sussesful. The new episodes are great but they could use better "old school Spongebobness." Its hard to explain. Spongebob is a classic hit show and it shouldn't be cancelled. Some of the new episodes are pretty funny. Anyway, Spongebob might have gone a little downhill. But,  maybe things will change hopefully.

    The new plots (if you can call them plots) are just getting weaker. I don't see anything else they could plug into this series, other than a new character that will only draw out the bad plots.
