Well it is common knowledge that Avatar has a better plot. However SpongeBob SquarePants is a different kind of show. It mostly relies on humor, and that is what makes it what it is .

I am a fan of anime (which Avatar is not), so I know plot and action quite well, and I have seen much better plots and action that what Avatar gives .

SB has no plot. plus hes gay In an episode yesterday, he was aying SB:"Good bye squidward! Good bye Mr. Krabs! good bye squidward..
Patrick:Why did you say good bye to squidward twice?
    SB:I like squidward
Yes, that was gay But that does not take away the fact that Avatar has a horrible plot.

    The plot of avatar:
A boy when he was 12 discovered that he was the bridge between this world and the spirit world, that his duty was to make sure there was peace in the world, he was devastated, his friends thought he was too powerful to play with, thus he was starting to get lonely, his masters forced him to go to another temple to learn, getting him away from his only friend, his mentor, he decided to escape, during his escape there was a storm, it was so powerful that he and his sky bison fell in the ocean, then his powers kicked in and he entered the "avatar state" in wich he has incredible powers from all of his past lives but no control over his body, he froze himself and his sky bison, duringthis time, the nation of fire started the plans to rule the whole world, they started by killing ll the air nomads (the people who "just bend air") hoping to also kill the avatar, (wich they did not know was frozen) then they began colonizing parts of the "Earth Kingdom" those who can bend earth and that have the biggest land among the 4 nations, then after the 100 years Katara a waterbender and his warrior brother Sokka found the iceberg were the avatar was frozen, shortly after they realise that he is the avatar and they must help him master the other 3 elements before the next summer because then a come would come, giving the firebenders a giant boost of power, enough to finish the war, so they begin their journey, but they are hunted by Zuko the fire nation's prince who was banished of the fire nation after he went to a war meeting and told the generals that they're plan (to put first new recruits in a battle to colonize more Earth kingdom territories so the experience ones can ambush the Earth Kingdom soilders) wasnot correct and that each soilder is important, after that he had to fight the general he insulted, or atleast that's what he thought, he actually had to fight his father, he refused to do so and his father burned his left eye, leaving a scar in almost all his left part of his face.
That's just a little part, there are many more to it, so no, aang does not want to save the world by "bending air"

    The plot of SB
SB has a job in the krusty krab and with his friends he has random and comical adventures.

I wonder if any of the people dissing Avatar or Spongebob have watched the show they're bashing with an open mind to the idea that hey, it may just be good!

For the love of Pete, people! I'm here for 2 days and apparently I find one of the biggest fan wars I've ever seen. What is everybody's problem?! Both shows are good, creative, and interesting. If people would get past that annoyance with Nick's time slots fighting between the shows, maybe people would actually realize that there's no reason to argue.

SPONGEBOB GOT MY FAVORITE SHOW CANCELED, BUT I STILL LIKE IT BECAUSE IT'S NOT THE SHOW'S FAULT, IT'S THE NICK PROGRAMMERS.

So If I can deal with losing El Tigre entirely because of SB, the Avatar fans can get over losing a few time slots for SB. Meanwhile, the SB fans can get over that they're show is not the only popular one and stop making up crud about it being only for little kids, because it's not even close to being only for little kids. Guess what? There's hundreds of adults I can name who like both cartoons? Who are they you ask? Just watch the credits sometime. Those arn't kids you know. And I'm 16 and love the death out of both shows.

    So everybody, just SHUT UP!

you're right, i am sorry if i offended someone, i used to like this show, but everything that came after the movie just wasn't good in my opinion and it gets to be played many times a day while avatar only gets one airing a week, but yeah it's not the shows fault, it's nick, i am very sorry for insulting you.

You shut up. Avatar is for babies. Deal with it.

    HengeWeeder, that's ENOUGH!

Guys I think this is enough. I hate to say it, but the SpongeBob SquarePants forum recently has been horrible. What ever happened to the old days? This place has always been a safe zone where we just have fun, away from other war forums. But now it is nothing more than battles between SpongeBob SquarePants and Avatar. The fans of Avatar are acting way too stuck up, but that doesn't mean we are any less guilty. Guys, you try to defend our show, but what if SpongeBob himself came to this forum? What would he think about all this ?
