    Truthfully, i don't think any kid wants to see their parents in a bikini, it shouldn't have a lot to do with being old. Though she might be old, but I don't think she's that old

    You know what? I think Freddie's dad actually left Marissa, perhaps when Freddie was young or before ever marrying her, which would explain the last name. I seem to recall an episode that Freddie says she's afraid he'll leave her, and psychologically speaking, her fear of that could be traced to his father leaving her.

    Spencer marrying Marissa would be worse *cough* ... and somewhere in season two it says they are engaged *puke*

    That would make Carly Freddie's step-aunt *vomit all over*

    Sam's mom might have a skin disease.

    No, they're engaged in the Christmas episode, a fake dream-like episode. I actually don't recognize that as a real episode in any way. Yes, Marissa and Spencer being together would be so wrong. I don't see anything that would point to Sam's mom as having a skin disease, though...

    I thought iChristmas IS a real episode, but it is true that they were engaged at some point after Carly wished that Spencer was "normal".

    yeah it is a real episode, it actually was written and aired, thus being real. However in my personal opinion, I don't actually count it as a real episode because things seemed so wrong to me. Either way, this isn't about the particular episode, so...

    You know, a friend of mine, older and majoring in psychology said that Mrs. Benson seems to exhibit the behavior showing possible child abuse, of her, in her past.

    In Imeet Fred, Freddie is in the bow and arrow club, how would Ms.Benson let him be in that club? Isn't it a little dangerous? Maybe she is starting to stop be so over-protective.

    i agree althought it would rock to have coco on if they were going for her mom being young i think joy from my name is earl would be good if she could tone down the accent a little bit

    Well it is obviously shown that Sams mom doesn't feed her(unless Sam was lying) i was thinking maybe thats the whole reason she borrows money from carly and freddie because her mom doesnt buy her clothes and food ect. but when you think about Sam has really cute clothes how could a mom who doesn't care for her buy her such nice clothes? (and by not caring for her i mean not feed her and stuff i am sure deep down sams mom loves sam-at least i hope)

    as for sam and freddies dad i think either they are both dead or sams dad died and freddies left although it would be interesting so have an dramatic episode were sam/freddies father shows up out of the blue and theey are all like 'you expect me to just let you back in my life i ahven't seen you since i was 2' or somthing like that

    i think carlys mom died from somthing maybe the navy or and illness or maybe even a car or plane crash

    They should mention more about them in the show. Especially more about the Mum. The mum didn't die, did she?

    I believe its logical to assume all three of the kids' parents are divorced. I believe this is especially so for sam since Sam always talks about how her mom always dates someone else, so its possible her mom had Sam through one of those temporary relationships.

    I'm not a Spam fan, but Spencer may still care about Sam. He wouldn't if he were the AU/OOC Spencer of iChristmas
