I like Lucy too, but I'm just saying that to stop the fight before it turns into an all out war between the Lucy haters and the Sam haters.

I mean seriously, I hate stuff like this. It all stems its ugly seed back to those "which is better" fights I love to partake in, just to bother people.
Yep, hugs for you...and, I wish the KND were real. We could drive at 8 years old...
...and I agree on the 'if they were real we would have problems' thing too...
I wish they'd still show reruns of Lucy on TV Land--the last time I looked, she was replaced by Andy Griffith and Bewitched, as well as Jeannie...hours of Jeannie and Betwitched concurrently. I love both, but what other shows are there, besides reality shows? Andy only shows at now nine at night...
Does Sam have to win every single fight she starts? There are people way bigger than her and she defeats them? Come on!! I know this isn't meant to be taken seriously but it wouldn't hurt for Sam to see what it is like to be bullied.

I've actually always wondered why she wins so many fights. Doesn't seem realistic. |

Agreed. But really, this thread should have been left to R.I.P (even though it was pretty awesome ) |

Plus, whatever you say that Lucy does is a lot meaner than anything that Sam does to Freddie, they are at least more justifiable than every single thing that Sam does to Freddie. So before you speak otherwise, it is clear to me that Sam undoubtedly crossed the moral event horizon.
I do see what you're getting at, though. Lucy may not have learned about all the dangers in the world, but somebody could have kept reminding her over and over until she had the guts to do something about it.
Another thing about the laugh track, if I were in charge of the show, I'd make it so that the laugh track doesn't play for Sam every time. It's almost like they're practically spoiling Sam. Of course, they never seem to spoil Lucy, which may be for the better. Plus, I think you gotta remember that Lucy did have some humorous moments herself, though I don't have time to list them. I hope my words got across to you. |
