I read somewhere iCarly is beating Hannah Montana in the ratings, I was pretty happy to hear that. But yeah, Jerry does add something to the show that just makes it so funny. I wouldn't have guessed he was in his 30's. That's why I'm hoping he won't quit Nick anytime soon.
Yeah that makes me a little worried. He can't quit!!

Hard to see why he would. He is on a hit TV show with a big viewship. He is getting paid to perform, that alone is a dream for an actor. And even Jennette and Miranda are clearly the stars of the show, there is a lot of plot time given to the two boys and there is no way you could see ICarly being as good of a show without Spencer and Freddie. Dan knows how to take good care of his people and after a nice long run on the top rated teen show in the world, Jerry will be in a great place to take his career to more TV or the movies or wherever he wants to go.

Besides it always seems like he is having the time of his life doing the show. How could he not stay with a sweet deal like this. I would! lol

Very true. There's always that possibility that some bigger opportunity could come along...he certainly does have the talent and the appeal. But yeah, I don't think there's any reason to really worry then I guess.
I'm sure he wouldn't quit Nick anytime Nick either. But I just hope he doesn't any time soon. Anywayss, you see a lot more adults quit on Disney than you ever do on Nick.

Good point. I don't see who wouldn't want to work on Nick. It'd be my dream for sure if I was an aspiring actress.

I love Spencer. He is by far the funniest character on the show. His facial expressions and his voice innotations always get me roaring with laughter. And my favourite Spencer scene is when he is stuck in the heating vent from iHatch Chicks, boy was he fooking hilarious.

Yeah he definitely does work well with kids, on screen and off screen (as it appears from podcasts and stuff) as well.

Aww..that's too bad. Oh well, at least you had your excitement for the day. *grins*

Seriously, Spencer is now the number two favorite character on my list from iCarly, right after Sam. He's too hilarious! And he's looking good too. *giggles* Sorry, fangirling moment there.

he DOES work well with kids. and his humor is like a kid, but that's the fun part. i mean. no wonder he works well with kids...since..he acts like a kid himself lol.

and your right, his facial expressions are halarious...
my favorite moment of him was when they were doing the Q&A's on the iCarly website. the one where "can a old dog learn new tricks?". and he's like..."uhm....Noooo?" (and has that weird funny face). i started crackin' up.

I know lots of male fans have huge crushes on Carly and Sam. And its easy to notice how many girls have crushes on Freddie. Any girl fans willing to confess having a crush on Spencer?

On a duplicate thread that just got locked, the question came up who makes the sculptures for Spenser. If you watch the credits, there is an official show sculptor named Tristan Miles Theopolis Daltry. Cool name and he is the one who comes up with the sculptures for Spenser.

Hard to see how they could find an actress or a character to keep up with him. Besides that might disturb the balance of the show since Spencer's role in the show is to be there for Carly. Its cute when he flirts with girls his age and maybe dates some but I don't think I would like him having a steady girl who would just get in the way.

Yeah I was just contemplating the idea. And what you said makes sense, but at the same time, having a character that old who doesn't have a significant other does seem a little odd as well.
