Sorry if this has already been posted. Tv Guide has got this episode posted for 9/27/08. Carly and Sam are both competing over a boy named Shane.

Not sure, but here's what TV guide says the detailed summary is:

Episode Detail: iSaw Him First - iCarly
In the second-season opener, Carly and Sam both develop a crush on Freddie's pal Shane. They compete for his affections, deciding that whoever kisses him first gets to go out with him. As the rivalry heats up, their friendship begins to suffer.

Heh, interesting way to go about it, I'd think one would go out with the person first and then kiss. I'm willing to bet the end of this will have Shane dating someone else already, just like Jake did. Then again, there's always a possibility that Seddie/Creddie fans may be satisfied somehow here. Freddie comforting the one who doesn't get Shane...hmm, I wonder...

Maybe Lucas/"Fred" (who was seen on set) is Shane? I agree with Fireofnature though, he'll probably be dating someone else in the end and never be seen again.

Just submitted the episode to the system.

We know that neither girl can win as it would wreck the show if their friendship was severed. But I think knowing the result won't affect enjoyability. I wonder how Freddie and Spencer will factor into this episode though. Spencer will likely have his own plot since it'd be odd for him to meddle in teen affairs like these, but Freddie's role is anyone's guess.

Be sure to watch for commercials and tell us TV-less folk any news!

yeah. i know what you mean. i can just see Freddie being Jealous. thats all i would think about it. maybe even Help with his friend Shane in this situation? (if shane knew about it)

Sounds interesting. I'm not really in to that kind of plot, but they should make it pretty good. The only thing that obvious is that Freddie will try to get them to stop fighting or get mad himself at Carly and Sam.

Just thought of a possible role for Freddie.

Do you think Freddie will push for Shane to like Sam, so that he can "keep" Carly for himself? This will obviously not go well with Carly, but what about Sam? Would she appreciate that Freddie is helping her out, even if it is not really for her sake?

(Making a connection to current news, how is episode speculation like particle physics? They both involve coming up with wild theories given a very limited amount of information.)

my thougts: the 2 people who said that fred/shane is already dating someone is probably right. think about it: if one of them DO win, then their friendship is probably over. and the other one will go to freddie. show's over.
ALSO, shane will probably have to be a recurring character after that. carly or sam can't have a bf and NOT have him in the show.
i don't think that they will introduce a character in one episode, then make him a main character. maybe, he will be in the season a lot, and in an explosive season finale, either carly or sam will date him.
edit: i said 'hating' instead of 'dating'
