Dan perfectly sums it all up in his journal so this I think should finally put some clarity into this whole matter to those who thought Carly was being wrong. Like I said, I don't think Griffin created a kind of huge enough buzz or impression at the end of the episode to make it seem like he'll come back but if Dan brings him back, so be it, but it shouldn't be as a romantic interest for Carly once again. Griffin was a cool character and I'm not going to slam this ship cause that's messed up BUT I honestly think we won't see him again ever. Its not like he was ever Carly's first true love. You would see characters who really fall in love with someone and Carly did NOT at all fall for Griffin, she was just attracted to his bad boy quality. And bringing him back one day to further Carly's feelings and make her realize she made a mistake, not going to happen at all when this show doesn't follow through a storyline.
Carly is still a young teenager and her mindset is not that of a young full fledged adult yet. She's going to move on and date other guys and try to find the one that's truly for her.
