iCarly: Miranda Cosgrove = Next Miley Cyrus?

Hey all! I couldn't find any threads on Miranda Cosgrove's new album so I thought I'd start one. I think Miranda has SUCH a good voice!! I just wish they'd play more of her music besides the theme song on the show. What do you think??

You just compared Miranda Cosgrove to the total wrong celebrity. I hope to god she doesn't become the next Miley Cyrus...we don't need another celebrity whore out there, we already have enough with Lindsey Lohan (who's in jail now!), Paris Hilton etc etc. I think Miranda is way too classy to become another Miley Cyrus.

If she does then I'll have nothing to do with her. I HATE Can't be tamed. I know hate is a strong word but I really hate it. I looked it up on iTunes because I'd heard about and thought it might be good. The reviews were about half and half. Half one star and half five star. I previewed the whole album and had to agree with the one star reviews. Ever since, whenever Miley comes on the radio, I change the channel. Miley had two good songs, the climb and party in the USA . If miranda turns into something like that, I will have nothing to do with her.

I didn't mean the "next Miley Cyrus" as in she'll adopt Miley's image and music style. I don't think Miranda would ever do anything like that. I just meant that will she ditch the acting to become a singer like Miley did or at least have singing be a bigger part of her life/career? In which case yes, I think she Can be the next "Miley"; I'm just hoping she can control herself- I'm already having to pray for Miley so she doesn't become Lindsay Lohan (I liked her; now I want nothing to do with her.) But Miranda's songs are pretty good so far so I think she's alright for now.

Well in MY opinion "Party in the U.S.A." was not her best work. I'm sorta into more of her slowpaced songs (Like "When I Look at You") but soe of her rock songs are catchy.

I guess that's what comes with being a guy on this forum, I just hate everything about Miley, music, acting and what she's become. I see it as a sure thing that she'll become the next Lindsay Lohan. Miranda seems like she'll become the next Julia Roberts or something.

I really do hope, that Miranda Cosgrove is not the next 'Miley Cyrus'. 'iCarly' would go down quickly, I would think.

She's better than Miley, but Jennette McCurdy deserves more publicity. Her songs are waaaay better than both Miranda and Miley's. I think Jennette is quite underrated if you compare her to Miranda Cosgrove.

Her songs appeal to a different audience. I think you might be right in terms of the media, but at least the online fans overrate Jenn and underrate Miranda imo. Only time will tell how successful either one of them are, but I hope they both do well.

It says in the middle: "I'm not here to tell ya tell ya to go to hell ".
It is a little catchy, but in my , and half the worlds opinion, it's a horrible song.
