Let's talk about Jennette Mccurdy's new album, set for release on October 19.

I've always been a huge fan of her music, even though she only has 3 songs out as of right now. Her first song ever, So Close, is one of my absolute favorite songs ever. On the 3 and a half hour car rides to Delaware and back (I just came back yesterday ) I listened to this song 20 times. Unfortunately, So Close will not be on the album.

Her second non-album song, Homeless Heart, is a cover she did for her friend who died at a very early age. It is very well-sung and emotional. Some (if not all) of the funds the song made went to charities.

Just recently, the lead single off of her first official studio album (Story of my Life) was released: Not That Far Away. This song is very upbeat and will hopefully get a lot more popularity when her entire album is released.

So, what do yo think? Are you as excited for SomL as I am? Do you already listen to Jennette Mccurdy? Which is your favorite song by her?

I've already listened to her first two songs, and they were awesome! I'd love to hear more from her.

Oh cool it well be realesed on my Birthday i heard Not that far away and i have to say it was really good ill definitly check out the album when it comes out

OH YAY! Why do we have to wait so long though? And even though "So Close isn't on the album, I'm hoping her debut album is just as good!

I don't know how accurate this is, according to this Boot article "http://www.theboot.com/2010/07/23/jennette-mccurdy-country-music/" an EP will come out in Aug and we have to wait now till next year before the album is released. If true the way this is going we'll all be old by the time she gets an album out I guess that's one way to get a more adult audience

Have any of you guys saw on her youtube channel of her posting videos of herself singing, clear-cut and unedited. And yet, they sound AWESOME!!! Her Youtube Channel

xiaxia123 I agree 100% I think she has a great voice but some of the things capitol does promoting her just confuses me. Also I wish she would promote herself a little better she did 3 concerts this weekend and barely says a thing about it.

I like the whole country thing she is into

I have heard some of her songs, I probably wont get the CD until I hear more then one song on the CD, I did the same thing with Miranda

Anyone else see her first music video that premiered today?? For "Not That Far Away"?? It was on CMT AND Nick. If you missed it, you can see it on either CMT.com or Nick.com, though I suggest CMT.com because they also have a 2-part Behind the Scenes that's REALLY cute!!

I saw it. I wasn't too familiar with the song since I only heard it once or twice so it was nice to listen to it again. Its a nice story with an excellent video to go with it.

PS her album title changed to Not That Far Away, instead of Story of my Life. Also, apparently now it's only an EP, meaning it won't have as many songs as a CD. And the release date is August 17.

Wait a minute... THAT'S IN 2 DAYS.

No. The EP is just for Not That far Away. It will be an acoustic version (..I think). Her album will be released October 19th
