I'd say probably around TV-Y7 or TV-PG. It does get suggestive at times, after all.

I wouldn't say it's that inappropriate, especially compared to other Y7 or G rated shows. Just because it's more inappropriate than non Dan Schneider shows, doesn't mean it isn't suitable for young kids.

I've seen that violence in cartoons. I've seen the "sensuality/sexuality" in Full House. The language is very tame (Carly can't even say "flippin"). I know people will often say "How is this a kid's show?", but it really does fly over their heads.

It probably should be rated 'PG' but I haven't given much thought about it.

To me it shouldn't. Its rating atm is fine. Society (including those soccer moms) needs to lighted the heck up!

iCarly has awesome humor in my opinion. The Disney Channel used to be funny to me but it didn't have enough innuendos to keep me interested. iCarly does.

Don't forget that Nick. is very careful about what can air in their shows. Dan has been told by Nick. to cut some lines out in the past few years.

It's cool when iCarly gets bloody. I especially liked the pickle scene in I get Pranky.

    • After Andre asks Tori why she picked the French Horn, Tori says, "I dunno... I like French fries, French toast..." In the original script, Tori also said "French kissing" " but I decided that was a bit much for a Nickelodeon show, so I cut "French kissing" from the script.

That's one example I can think of at the moment, there is some more on his blog. Danwarp's blog.

Lmao, I figured Tori was "fast", but that makes her seem kinda promiscuous .

lol...i remember on Victorious when they had that machine that hurt Rex..and I think Beck asked him, what does the machine do?

And then Andre said, it blows and it sucks. LOL. I don't remember the exact lines, sorry. But that was a worse innuendo than french kissing by far..
