And I mean that in a good way! Does anyone agree? I think Dan listened to us when we said we wanted it to be more mature and adult. SEE?! HE DOES COME ON HERE! YAYYYY! Lol. It seems more mature and inapropriate now. I like that, obviously haha. Anyone agree? Is this good or bad? How will it change in the future? I mean they practically swear now. Holy crab with a very silent h?

I agree with you, I just think he's a smart man that knows what he's doing. Look at how old the cast was when they first stated out, hence why it seems like the plots might be a little more silly, because they were still kids. And look at how old they are now. There's gonna be some more mature plots that involves something that they would actually be doing at their age. I also agree on the inappropriateness, there's enough subtle jokes that makes it funnier for Dan's older audience, but its not bad enough that nobody's gonna blame him. I hope there will be some more mature plots this season, because I really liked how mature everyone seemed in iGot A Hot Room.

You're right, if you compared iGot a hot room to the pilot, you might be surprised it's the same show. But it's so much better now. And the pics that were new from the opening credits looked so weird! It's deffiently a good thing.

Like all shows by Nickelodeon, iCarly has been going down the drain at a tremendous speen, and has turned into junk by now. All characters had been moved away from their true selves and turned into mediocre average people aka worthless dung.

Zoey 101 had started to get corrupted beyond reason in season three, the crown being abominations like Quogan in season four, until Chasing Zoey hammered home the last nail into two years of wasted time, barring many of the guest stars, of cours.

iCarly started to decease and decay already in early season two, as there were more episodes per season than in Zoey 101. Thus it has become a walking corpse already in season two. Only guest stars keep iCarly worthy of watching, no exception.

I like how it's different than the first episode. It's so much better. And they look so much more mature. But I do also agree that it's starting to go downhill. I can't wait to see upcoming new episodes, but then, when I end up seeing them, I can hardly call it my top favorite episode. Some of the characters I have no problem with. But the others are, how do I wanna put it, losing their touch? Maybe? I don't know. What I do know is that once a show's gone on long enough, fans start losing interest and begin to wish that it hadn't gone on so long because they want the first season back. Though, that's not entirely true with this show because I can honestly say I don't want the first season back .

I love that it's more mature. The actors grew up so Dan actually didn't force them to be younger then they actually are and continue writing juvenile, silly plots like in season 1, by far the worst season, and wrote more grown up plots, Miranda even said that in an interview about continuing iCarly, she said that the plots are a lot more mature and they deal with a lot more relatable things, like relationships and family etc. Plus with all the cast around 17 or 18 it makes an older viewer like me feel a lot better about watching it.

I agree with frontman here like a lot. But though this topic was just like a huge invitation for schilling and his...schillingness? I think his definition on characters being corrupted is equal to us thinking the characters mature and grow up, which people do.

I agree that iCarly is becoming more mature and the plots are more "developed" and appeal to more veiwers(especially older ones). Unlike some people I don't think that season one was bad in any way it just seemsthat the plots were more juvenile and had a elementary type approach to situations, but I still enjoy watching the episodes if i'm bored and want a good laugh. I actually like that the show has become more daring and has more innuendos, ithelps broaden the audience. Like sometimes i'll watch iCarly and my mom will be around and an innunedo will pop up and she'll start laughing.

Yeah, my dad laughed really hard at the goat jokes, but my mom asked him "what did the goat do"?

I also found this article which talks a little about how they work iCarly's adult humor into the show and how the viewers kinda run the show in a way. Like Miranda says in the article: "Kids are really running the show in one way," Cosgrove says. "Writers read the e-mails. Last season we were getting tons of e-mails from kids who said they loved Lewbert, the crazy doorman on the show, so he's been on five episodes."

I guess we should tell Dan that we want to see more of a character and he'll give it to us! Which is probably the reason why Gibby is a main charcter now.
