iCarly is currently in season 3,(it is in america, but not for marcdrageicevic, he said it in a post)so should it end right there or should it last longer? should it last waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy longer? or should it just do what any show would do and maybe end at around..... twelve seasons maybe.

I don't think it's going to last 12 seasons, though it would be nice. It's not that I don't think the show has that longevity, but by season 4 all of the main characters' ages should be 16. I don't think they'll have a "iCarly: The College Years" (Saved By The Bell anyone? )

I want it to last 7 seasons, but apparently that's too optimistic according to my friends. They expect it'll be done after 5. (I don't think it will be because I think it's too successful)

I'm going by airing seasons by the way so 24-25 eps. per season.

not more than five, because the actors get too old, and the kids would scatter anaturally as they asre seniors in season five.

Will probably be another 40 episodes (maybe 35 all up with double eps and maybe a final 1.5 hour movie) by the time the show ends. I doubt the show will last another filming hiatus.

It may depend as much on how well victorious does as what the actors want.

how are they seniors in season 5 when they're in 9th grade now, and will prolly be in 10th grade in the 4th season? You're not the first person I've heard say this, and I was wondering how you got that.

Carly was eighth grade in season one, thus she's a soph in season three, and , consequentlly, a senior in season five.

I thought they were still freshmen in the eps. they're airing now. Are you speaking in airing seasons or production seasons b/c there's a big difference. Technically, production wise, they're still in season 2 b/c they did 40 or so episodes for season 2. Nick broke it up into season 2 and season 3 even though it wasn't produced like that.

So, production-wise I agree 5, 40 episode seasons is a good stopping place, but not the 25 ep. airing seasons.

Hmmm four, maybe 5 seasons would be good before it got repetititititive.
As long as it lasts as long, if not longer, than Hannah Montanna then I'm happy and i wont owe someone 10$

I think that this season is going to last 4,800 season like the poll says, which means that it will end in around year 6810. Tv shows like this usually span over a couple thousand years, correct?

Its really not even up to dan nor is it up to us,it up to Nickelodean and the "Kiddies" to decide that.If the amount of kiddie viewers go down, then the show is in trouble as this series is geared towards the kids age of 6-12 and the adolecense age of 9-14.Nick also can cancel the show by tommorow as they control the channnel.
