iCarly: How in any way does this incorporate kid-generated content into its script?

It's obvious that all of the stuff shocasted on the webshow is fake (the dancing, the egg thing, "Dr. Nub"). What sign is there that this is ACTUALLY REAL content instead of just more garbage than Dan Schneider produces?

Perfect example: Dan said himself that there was a vid shown on iCarly of 2 guys catching fake snowflakes and that was a real fan vid. And if you upload a fan vid, or pics or whatever, you have to agree to the terms that they could be used in the show and to not uploaded if you don't want it shown. I'm not sure about any other vids shown, but any that they happen to show at the end of every episode with the end credits is I'm sure.

He's obviously lying, or the video was created specifically for that episode. I mean, what chances are there than a couple of adults are stupid enough to lick pretend snowflakes for fun, and show it off to the rest of the world because they want to?

anyone that believes adults wont lick snowflakes and post them on the internet for everyone to see obviously has not been on the internet for the past couple years. theres been so much more idiotic crap, dont get me started.
and of course some of the stuff is going to just be made it because it has to go with the episode or the script. i dont find that a big deal.

It doesn't matter if some adults do it. The thing is, generally, the audience aren't stupid enough to jump from a box to surprise their mother and happen to have a camera recording, drum with meat, and do the most ridiculous things only to have Carly, Sam, and Freddie insult it on their show.
