    It's clear that they don't care if a show has gone down the toilet or not, they'll replay it for all it's worth (new episodes of SpongeBob, Bucket & Skinner, etc) if it's popular.

    The B&S episode after iLMM got sort of popular, at least for my low standards on the show.

    You guys realize you are no longer the target audience for Spongebob now, right? It's not supposed to be wonderful to you anymore. It's really for little kids, and they love it. (trust me, they do). So it is probably more that u have outgrown Spongebob, and less a decline in the show. (That happened to me as I grew up I thought sayings like "burnt" and "saved" where old and no one used them anymore, but then my niece comes home saying them, and I'm like WTF? it turns out I just outgrew them.) The jokes on Spongebob probably have grown stale and repetitive, but it's not made for people who know what stale and repetitive mean. It's not a show that grows up with you.

    Um...WOAH backtrack, bactrack Rici. I'm in highschool. The old Spongebob episodes have me laughing my butt off, so don't say that the show isn't for us anymore. Heck, most of the jokes on that show are for ADULTS. The writing for Spongebob has gone down the drain, and there's nothing we can do about it. Psht, I know comedy. And these current seasons of SB just ain't it.

    Spongebob has been coming on since 1999. As it got older it grew and changed, not to accommodate it's older audience, but this new generation of children, who are even different than I was growing up in the 90's. What I was saying was it shouldn't be surprising that Spongebob isn't funny to you anymore, considering your age. The more adult jokes are probably just an afterthought, making you laugh is no longer a priority. (that most of the jokes are adult is an exaggeration). Spongebob needs people to not only tune in, but to buy his zillions of products and the odds of high schoolers doing that are slim. And if you are not a paying customer, you are not enough of a priority to make lots of special adult jokes for.
