WOW! Are you kidding me! I'm not against gay people, I go to an Arts school where there are a lot of gay kids... UM YEAH BUT THIS IS A KIDS SHOW!!!! You just don't show two girls or boys (especially if they are like, 12-15 or whatever) kissing. Parents are NOT gonna like that.
Again, not againt gay people AT all, but this is a show geared to like 6-13 year olds, it's just wrong to show same gender love/kissing on a childrens show, sorry.
AND the world plus television is still very close-minded. I really don't see this happening at all. Also, being gay is not a joke, a lot of people take it very serious and it doesn't belong on a show like this.
Sorry for being so WOW about it, I was just shocked when I saw the thread.

I know how you feel. The people getting all bent calling it sick and gross have yet to give ONE good reason behind that. They act as if seeing a gay couple will irreversibly damage someone.

Very well said, I think most of this is fear and nothing more. I have 2 nephew's and both have lesbian mothers and both are straight. It will be a long time before people open their minds to this.

It was rather obvious who was beside her, and look at Carly's face. But anyway, please explain why this wouldn't be ok for a kids show if done the same way as a straight couple. Come on, we are not getting anywhere but round in circles. If this thread isn't going to go in a positive direction maybe it should be locked. Only 2 people have given excellent replies, seriously people add something.

And they are getting to that age anyway, it would be real for someone like Sam to confuse her feelings for Carly as love when she doesn't have many people she can trust and treat her right in her life. Her parents are terrible as mentioned and how many friends outside Carly and Freddie does she have? It would work easy at that point.
