Hah reminded me of the mindy project as well since I just watched that one episode. I was curious about that show, decided to check it out. It's humorous, but I'm still baiting it.

in older seasons spencer has showed his moments of maturity like when carly and co went to see that mma fight. i guess since its the final season they arent putting much effort into the final episodes. theyre entertaining but not haha funny liek they used to be

OMG this. Your exactly right. These final episodes are entertaining, but they aren't as quality as S2-S4.

They're entertaining, to me, on a limited level though. I feel as though dividing the effort between iCarly and Victorious really affected these shows. Since they were produced at the same time.

And, totally, I agree with Spencer's past times as a mature adult and guardian. I remember that MMA fight episode, and it was a good standing for Serious Spencer.

This. I hope it doesn't happen with Sam & Cat/Gibby.

Finally got around to watching this episode. I felt what Sam, Carly and Freddie did at the start as really creepy trying to get Spencer new friends.

Haha, just basically showing random people off the streets a photo of someone. It's not as bad as what Gibby did in the bathroom.

Just a very strange way of making friends for someone in their 30's.

I think they make the kids more mature than the adults in most children's sitcoms. If kids are watching it, and writers know that kids can't stand adults, they will obviously portray the adult as stupid and childlike to appeal to the kids watching the show.

That's been around with Nick since their very first show XD. I remember watching a documentary for "you can't do that on television" (shot in '79) and one of the actors said they remember all the adults being either denegrates or just plain stupid

That old show is also the origin of the slime that we all know and love on Nick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcawVlirj60

Not only that, but the "baby Spencer" is NOT the first instance. Back in the 90s there was a show, Clarissa Explains it All with the younger brother, Ferguson. In between commercials for it would feature a baby with Ferguson's head on it, this happened a couple times as what was called a Nickelodeon Bumper, letting people know that the show would be back soon. So THAT's the real instance of it ^_^. Can't seem to find a clip of it though -_-, been searching for about 20 minutes now.

Baby Spencer was also influenced by the baby skit during All That; another show by Dan Schneider. Go figure.

Dan isn't done with Nick . As you know he has new projects coming up on the channel. But if he ever did leave Nick, besides cartoons, the channel wold have no redeeming qualities lol .
