Well good news everyone, Nick has ordered another 26 episode season of The Legend of Korra giving us 52 episodes total. And apparently this also means that unlike the original series, Books are not the same as Seasons in this show.

wait, does that mean another 26 episodes on top of 14 for season 2? A sigh of relief can now be said for all avatar fans, the second season ending will be with out doubt be better because the creators have time to rewrite the script.

Yeah, apparently Bryke already had season 3 ideas in case it was renewed again So this means there will be four seasons total, right?

Nope....Books 1 and 2 are considered Season 1 and Season 2 is apparently going to be Books 3 and 4.

    So two 26 episode seasons.

Probably when Nick ordered 26 more episodes after they ordered the intial 14 episodes. Now that Nick has ordered episodes earlier now that the writers won't have write rushed endings. Korra is offically a fully realized Avatar. Looks like people they wanted to see the adventures of a fully trained Avatar ad not more training will get their wish. We will see how the series plays out and what challenges Korra will face now.

Well that's good. 26 episodes total is surprisingly short and I was concerned with the pacing. I wonder if they're going to re-write some of the things from Book 2 now that they have more episodes to work with.

This is extremely splendid news! I have full confidence these will be even better than Book 1. I'm glad there are 40 more episodes to look forward to instead of just 14.

Really glad this isn't a mini-series anymore. I actually saw this coming. I just knew Bryke and Nick wouldn't be content with a measly 26 episodes.

to be honest i wouldve preferred for this to be a mini series. the only thing i didnt like about it was that there were still unanswered questions from part 1 and that everything was half assed at the end. first he tells asami he loves her and tells korra he loves her? korra just automatically becomes a master when aang gives her her bending back? and alot of people didnt have as much character development as they should have. but other than the ending and the disappointing "big fight" towards the end, this was all inall a great series. i just hope that this forced second season doesnt ruin it or at least ties up some loose ends
