I could see it expanding to 3 seasons (air, spirit, energy just a quess). The Amon plot may resolve itself this, but a more serious villian will be revealed. Someone had to teach Amon how to energy bend. This would be similar to season 1 of LAB using Admiral Zhao as kind of the main villian. I would agree at the end of season 1, Korra and Amon will have an epic battle. I think Korra will win by going into the avatar state for the first time. Maybe during the battle she destroys half the city while in the avatar state. Season 2 will be about her learning to control the avatar state. While trying to hideout from Amon or other main villian who has now taken control because people fear Korra and he is promising to destroy her. At the end of season 2 she fights Amon/main villian, loses, and has her bending is taken away. Season 3 will then be about her coming out of a depression about losing her bending. Eventually she will find a way to bend energy and have her bending returned. She will then confront and destroy Amon/main villian.
None of this will probably happen, but it is fun to speculate.

I created an account specifically for my theory lol
So I think Amon isn't just taking bending away I think he is transferring the bending ability into himself.
He took Firebending from that criminal dude who was an intimidating bender and his gang, then he took Waterbending from the winner of the Pro bending...
Could he be collecting the bending abilities to make himself an Avatar? I know we haven't seen ANY evidence of this just my theory
And I have feeling that Amon is connected to Zuko's mother somehow... I doubt it's something overplayed like he is Zuko's long lost half brother (I hope nothing so lame) but I do think he has some connection.

I like how you have mentioned Zuko's mother. If I'm not mistaken but she has only beenreferenced to once in one of the earlier episodes. I don't see him being Zuko's brother but hey, anything could be possible, after all he does hide his face like Zuko..

just making sure what I wrote wouldn't be interpreted in any way other then what I want it to be it sort sucks we have only been given the title and nothing about it. Although I suppose it does get people talking about it more.
