    I don't know. I might start to dislike Lin if she activetly tried to pursue Tenzin despite the latter having a family. If you are talking about harmless flirting or flashback with them sure. A love triangle in the present with those three would make either Tenzin or Lin look bad.

    From what I've seen, Pema's sort of been made out to be a beetch.

    Didn't she pretty much tell Korra to go take Mako from Asami?

    If Tenzin and Lin are opposites then I guess Pema has to be similar to him, in a case of similars attract?

    Oh, well, simple psychology really:
    In the 20s there were already a few recorded cases of long-lasting relationships between teachers and students, many of these were determined to having been initiated by the student in question, and as we all know this series is taking place in the Avatar equivalent of the roaring twenties, so having that relation is logical.
    Now, the sexy school uniform is the best way to tap into the man's psyche in a positive way, it grabs the wrongness of the situation and gives it a Freudian spin in order to avoid moral blockage and change it into a drive to achieve the wished relationship.


    Anyway, ignoring whatever the crap i just wrote, here. You can find ages of many characters and stuff. Pema is 35 and Tenzin is 51, by the way. Lin is 50. Mako's 18, Bolin 16, Korra 17 and, well, you can find lots 'o stuff there.

    Tenzin did say he and Lin grew apart. I wouldn't mind seeing that and it led him to Pema.

    And this time i'm Not joking! Simply, babies meant career-death for Lin, which would mean she would stop protecting the city, but Tenzind NEEDED to have babies. She didn't say no, but rather not yet, but it still made tension as the moment Lin had babies she'd probably be a mother for life or something.

    Wow. I never even thought of that. This is an actual issue in real relationships. It breakes up relationships all the time. Brillant for the writers to introduce such an real topic into this series.

    Tenzin is doing a better job than Aang did at rebuilding the air benders. But of course since this is a cartoon show aimed at kids they weren't going to show Aang or Tenzin having multiple wives in order to rebuild the Air Nomaids.

    Kinky Though I doubt Aang would do that. Maybe Tenzin, but what if New-Bumi has some kiddies (with the pic we saw, high hopes on that end) and they are airbenders.

    Tenzin's voice actor is the same guy as the actor for J. Jonah Jameson from the Spider-man movies (the reporter that had it against Spider-man)
