I still remember??Zuko's first appearance in episode 2. From then to "Tales of Ba Sing Se", its like Zuko is a completely different person. I know it has much to do with Zuko being completely expelled from the Fire Nation rather than just being exiled, but still. If "Tales of Ba Sing Se" was the first episode of Avatar than I have seen, it makes??me think that Zuko was never... well... mean or stubborn or whatever you would like to call it.

I think If this was the first episode I watched, I would definitely think Zuko had changed sinced the first episode because he comes storming in, doesnt answer Iroh and just slams the door. Then peeking out saying it was a nice date. They showed his change so well in this episode you can't miss it, or you would just think he's a spoiled brat.

Yup. Zuko needs to go out more...he's not a lady charmer like his uncle Iroh is.

Haha, I wouldn't call Iroh a total lady charmer. June seemed pretty infuriated with him.

I think June is kind of an outside case. He's a jolly old man that may remind her of her grandfather, but not be the kind of guy she's looking for. Usually, Iroh's lady charming is stronger with women closer to his own age. Really, there's only two instances, though.

I accutlly thought it was funny and kinda cute that he didn't know how to deal with girls.??He's been on that ship so long he never got any practice with girls. I think its good Jin asked him out because most girls would get upset if the boy there with screamed,

    "SHE IS NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!!!!"

    Jin tolerates him well.

And yes I do thinks he's losened up a little bit and gotten kinder, but he is still really uptight.

Zuko probably wouldn't admit it, but he really likes her. He tried to juggle for her, and firebent for her. In the beginning of the series he woulnt even think of going on the date with her, and he certainly wouldn't give a a rats a$$ about what she wanted.

I thought what Zuko did for Jin was very cute, and that he did it at the expense of getting caught. He has changed much since this first started. He would have never done something like that in ep.2. He's learning to let go of his pride...he's being humbled. Jin and Zuxo look very nice together, even though I'm on the Zutara ship.

I liked this episode because it showed how much he's changed. When he was out with Jin, he seemed almost like his old self, the kind, sweet Zuko we saw in Zuko Alone's flashbacks. I loved the firebending that he did for her, and how nervous he was. He seemed so much humbler and happier. I just love that thing about the circus and how he said, "Yes, I juggled."

He still has something holding him back, that uptight stubborn thing going on, not aallowing himself to get atatched.

Agreed, and now he doesn't wear that clanky armor, he wears cool earth kingdom clothes, and uses his Swords More, WHICH PWN.

    You're right, he has changed.

It's as much a return to what he was (as seen in The Storm and Zuko Alone) as it is a change...I just hope it doesn't come back to haunt him...that Jin isn't some kind of undercover agent sent to check up on Jet's accusations (the way she snuck from around the corner when he left the tea shop looked a little...off).?? He seemed to genuinely like her, I'd hate to see yet another thing blow up in his face...

Oh yea. Zuko changed like...ridiculously. It's a good change, though.
I actually like his hair better this way then in the ponytail, too.

And it's completely and totally obvious that he enjoyed his date.

I hope they do something awesomely amazing for the finale. Like... Zuko changes to the good side. That would be effing awesome.

I like to think that she was around the corner to try to save face.?? She wasn't sure Zuko was going to go through with the date since he was so reluctant when she asked him out.?? She didn't want to feel embarassed by standing out on the street like an idiot if he stood her up.
