Zuko's betrayal: Just an act?

    What if Zuko's betrayal is merely an act, a ruse to trick & one-up Azula, even if it means betraying Iroh, and hurting Aang & Katara's feelings?

    I would believe that....he's probably just doing what Iroh did last season when he went with Zhao.....but he's making it a lot more believable.?? Just another random thing.....before Zuko joined the fight...Iroh was trapped in the crystals....he had to get out somehow.?? I doubt the Dai Li got him out, and I don't even think Toph went that way when they got involved in the fight.....I dunno....it was weird the way it went so....

    i hope that it is just an act of Zuko's betrayal..i would hate if Zuko joined Azula...too bad we have to wait until like next June or July for the season to continue

    attention all disbeleiver! this theory answers all the Zuko & Iroh ?s left unanswered. why would Zuko just ditch his uncle? plan. why was Zuko so quick to join Azula? plan. why did Zuko shoot at Azula first? maybe to try and let Aang & Katara in on the plan (which unfortunatly didn't work). how Iroh got out of the crystal? Zuko let him out somehow. why did Iroh give up that easily? plan. Why did it seem so convincing? there good actors of course.

    No. Please no. If the writers and creators are hearing me, please do not indulge in these fanboy/fangirl thoughts. Please. You have turned Avatar into a great show, perhaps the best animation show ever made (and yeah, I've watched FMA) right now with that last episode. But now these fanboy/fangirls want to take this away, and make Avatar a mediocre show. They want this show to regress. Please, do not let this happen. Zuko still has more redemption to do. Do not let him avoid that with this ridiculous theory.

    I know, right??? Zuko joining Azula was way too easy....he's gotta have some plan up his sleeve.?? I mean you can't tell me that whole metamorphasis thing was a hoax.?? And Iroh.......he should have been able to kick Azula's ass...if anyone's a better firebender than Azula, it's Iroh.

    I don't think it was plan at all. He just got caught up in the moment of finally restoring his honor and made the wrong choice. But as you could you towards the end, he was beginning to regret his actions - clearly showing that his 'rehabilitation' from evil and avatar hunting is not yet complete (did you really expect him to completely change direction after a fever?). He will turn good in the end.

    He didn't hurt Aang's feelings, or Katara's. Aang never trusted him. The only thing it would do emotionally to Katara is make her never trust him again.

    I don't know what to think about Zuko's?? betrayal???????? I think we all can agree that??his Uncle couldn't have got out of the crystal gate without help. Also Zuko should remember that his sister has lied to him several times in the past before. You can tell that in that last shot that he is still debating his acts.

    I think his true turn around will?? but when??he hears??from his father's own lips that he will not own him as his son any longer, that is when we will see Zuko's true power emerge. ??

    He didn't hurt Aang's feelings, or Katara's. Aand never trusted him. The only thing it would do emotionally to Katara is make her never trust him again.
    no i think he did hurt their feelings. when he shot @ azula Aang was lookin like "yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay" and katara was all"i knew it!" the he shot @ aang and they were both all " wtf? "

    When did he shoot at her? Do you mean when Aang and Katara are fighting Azula? Zuko shot fire in front of AANG so he couldn't attack Azula. And as for Iroh, there's only one thing I can say, he's IROH. That's all there is too it.

    sort of. I meen when A&K were fighting her and HE SHOT AT HER!!!! not blocking an attack. watch it again. pay attention to her face.

    I would not believe that, remmeber Zuko said,"I betrayed Uncle". Then Azula replied, "no, he betrayed you".
