it's offiicial, zuko is more popular than anyone else.
but to answer the question;??i think he'll be his own category until the end. then he'll make the decision to be good.

Zuko strikes me as having more bad in him than good.?? I think Iroh does a lot to keep that side of him under control, so I wonder what's gonna happen when Iroh's not around anymore... |

I think that zuko will be bad. I think hell find a way to capture the avatar and show his father he made a mistake by vanishing him and considering him an embarrrasement, of course he would let the avatar go afterwards so his father has to do more work in getting him.Or he could be good and help Aang and the gang .I dont know im just blabering because i dont know what else to think. |

yep, your right. He is the most popular out of all of them.
I think Zuko is pretty nice. . .like that time he could've captured the avatar but went to save his uncle instead (avatar Roku)
and that time he didn't scar Zhao when they had the agni kai (southern air temple)
and that time he tried to rescue Zhao even though all the stuff he put him through (siege of the north)
and in the storm he showed a lot of sympathy for his crew.

Whose side is Zuko on? Not Aang's, not the Fire Nation's in the traditional sense. I bet he's on the Fire Nation's side in the sense he??wants what's best for his people, like Daniel Ellsberg was a patriot in the sense that he cared about the Marines, even though he technically betrayed the country. He's on his father's side (he still wants his love and approval), but he shouldn't be and wouldn't if he was completely sane.
Like Sirius Black told Harry: "The world isn't divided into good people and Death Eaters." Just because someone's not a saint, or even because they're an antagonist, doesn't make them a villain.
I used to think that Zuko wavered on the line between good and evil, but after the "Song Incident" and his regression into the Blue Spirit, I believe he is starting to slip to the darker side. Though many might disagree, I believe Zuko's time as an outlaw is actually making him worse, rather than better. Iroh's comment that his nephew was more honorable then Zhao has now become questionable, and perhaps the old general will come to realise how far his charge has fallen. Though I suspect Zuko eventually find a way out of this hole he's dug himself into, he might have to hit rock bottom first.

I look at it this way:?? I think Zuko is definitely a good guy, but he's never been a nice guy.?? Zuko's sense of self-importance and his thuglike temperament??are consistent with the rest of his family (with the notable exception of Iroh) but??his world views are not, namely: world conquest = bad and??killing = bad except when necessary.??????Frankly, I suspect that Iroh was??more??like the rest of the family earlier in life, but the loss of his son and his trip through the spirit world changed that.?? Anyway, Zuko's??bizarre upbringing and banishment have put??him??in a dysfuctional, isolated state.?? He's had way too much time to sit in his room and think about pursuing the Avatar, about his sister, about how much he hates/loves his dad, how he misses his country, etc.??
Although I generally disagree, I think your point is very well made.?? ?? You my indeed be right about the honor part, it depends on what the Blue Spirit does next.?? Only time will tell.??
