The reason why I say this, is not because I don't want him to (I don't), but because in the beginning of the season, Iroh and Zuko both removed their topknots.?? In feudal Japan (and the Fire Nation), cutting of their topknots is an act of severing oneself from home.?? Azula may be trying to pull a fast one on Zuko (and vice versa).

This reminds me of Shanghai Noon. lol Anyway, you never know what could happen but Zuko not being accepted by his father even after what he did to help Azula, would be VERY interesting. Maybe The Fire Lord will throw Zuko in prison with The Fire Mages.

Yes. I think zuko has severed too much from the fire nation, I do think azula is playing him, but I also think hell have a change of heart (if it isnt just a trick)

First of all, the show is not entirely based on Feudal Japan,
also he could just grow another one.

But strangely I totally agree with you, I think it would be really hard, if not impossible for Zuko going home. *Zuko how could you betray Iroh....*

Ya, I dont think that he can
HE said it, he cant have his honor restored because he hasnt captured the avatar
His dad is probably a hardass, and didnt say IF you help beat the avatar in combat you can have your honor back. That means he probably still wont be accepted
I think zuko may recognize this and betray the FN

They CAN'T be dead. Remember these words 'The Fire Sages have always been loyal to the Avatar' There is no way that the creators would just kill them off. So much potential just can't be wasted.

Zuko had a choice to make. Everyone criticizes him for NOT going with Uncle Iroh and the Avatar (his sworn enemy) and going to be with Katara or something, but remember that Azula IS his sister, and he DOES want his father's love. If his sister says that she needs his help in conquering the last Earth Kingdom stronghold, thus realizing their father's ambition, wouldn't you do the same? He had two choices: betray his uncle,?? or officially sever all ties with his nation, his culture, and his immediate family. I probably would've done the same thing. He'll be conflicted in the next season, and face a NEW decision (my guess). Maybe he will reconsider and go back. I'm just saying, I woulda done the same thing. . .

As for the whole, Zutara vs. Kataang arguement? Just because Aang has let go of Katara doesn't mean he doesn't love her. Quite the contrary. That philosophy is meant to help Aang realize that all love is eternal and ever-changing, and he cannot let one person cloud his judgement in saving the world. However, I don't think that Katara HATES Zuko either. Of course we won't know until the next season starts, will we?

Zuko's choice was not totally unexpected. Like they say, blood is thicker than water. I mean, Zuko's not as cold as his dad. He wouldn't betray his own father and nation. I think that Azula will stab him in the back, turn him into the fire nation, Zuko will figure out how stupid he was, get away from the fire nation, redem him self with Aang, and finally do the right thing. But oh my gosh! How could he do that to Iroh?!?!?! HOW?!?!?!

seriously!!!!!! Zuko's too cool of a character to be defeated at the end of the season, thus: he will turn to be good.

    Oh wait... I remember.
You know how Iroh worked for the firenation for about 60 years of his life? It took him 60 years to figure it out! Zuko's 17 (or 16, but whatever)! He's young, and still has time to figure it out!

But not as evil as me! Lets go insult people for the fun of seeing them cry. Then we can kill them gruesomely. J/K
